LET US JOURNEY TO THE CROSS
"You must accept your cross; if you bear it courageously it will carry you to Heaven."
–St. John Vianney
We will follow the Stations of the Cross for Our Times on Friday, March 1 st . These
Stations were produced in 2015 for The Dioceses of Kildare and Leighton in Ireland,
Let us walk with Jesus and try to experience and participate on His last day on earth.
Let us brace ourselves for this long and difficult journey. Jesus was attacked, insulted
and vilified. He was unjustly condemned to death.
As we journey with Jesus, let us remember and pray for those who are overburdened by
the crosses they carry. May our walk fill us with His strength and His love and give us
the courage to face and carry our cross.
“There is no evil to be faced that Christ does not face with us. There is no enemy that
Christ has not already conquered. There is no cross to bear that Christ has not already
borne for us, and does not now bear with us. And on the far side of every cross we find
the newness of life in the Holy Spirit, that new life which will reach its fulfillment in the
resurrection. This is our faith. This is our witness before the world.” -St. John Paul II
